Objectives |

If you do well in this course, you will be able to:
- Understand and be able to discuss crime in its broadest sense.
- Identify and discuss various key theoretical perspectives of crime.
- Identify the ways in which the social structure impacts on crime and how come affects the social structure.
- Apply a variety of methodological techniques to conduct research on crime and delinquency.
- Discuss the utility of methods of dealing with criminals including the "when, where, and how" of treatment.
