Task 5- Exam 1 - 100 points
Prepare and take Exam 1, which will ask you to compare the characters of Achilles and Agamemnon in Book I of the Iliad. Worth up to 100 points.
You will write Exam 1 in an NVCC Testing Center. Be sure to take the appropriate Exam Pass and a photo ID with you. Call the Testing Center first to make sure it will be open long enough for you to complete the exam.
If it is not possible for you to get to an NVCC Testing Center, you may arrange for a proctor at another location.
That takes time, so if you think that you will need a
proctor, go to the ELI Policies and Procedures Screen. Select the link for Examination Proctors, from the Table of Contents, for information on how to arrange for a proctor.
Bring the following to the Testing Center of your choice:

- Your emplid
- An outline or brief notes for your essay (optional) DO NOT bring a draft of the essay
- Printouts from Bullfinch or other WWW sources for background on Agamemnon, Achilles and the Troy Cycle (optional)

You will write this exam in the Testing Center. There is no time limit, so be sure that you enter the Testing Center early enough to allow yourself as much time as you think you may need. An hour or two should be plenty. You may use a dictionary.
You may write this exam on a computer, if one is available in the Testing Center. You would then do a copy/paste to the Blackboard Exam message box to submit your exam.
I will keep a copy of your exam for one year in case there are questions about it.
