You can earn up to 1000 points for the entire course. Final grades will be assigned according to the number of points you have earned. You need to pass at least two of the exams in order to pass the course.
You may only submit one piece of work at a time. Then you need to wait for my feedback before submitting the next, so plan ahead. You will not be able to hurry through all the course work at the end.
I will under NO CIRCUMSTANCES grade more than one piece of
work in a single day, so you must plan accordingly.
Go to the Student Grade Form to print and fill out your personal schedule of due dates and grades received. You can always add up your points to see how you are doing in the course.
Extra Credit Option:
Create a new page for a text or topic related to the Trojan War, that adds substantial new material to the Troy Web Site. It does not have to be web-ready; text is fine, and I can put it into html, but I like ready made web pages even better! If it is well-done, I will link your page to the Troy Web Site, with full credit to you, of course.
If you are interested, contact Diane Thompson and explain what you would like to do, before you begin. Allow at least one month for this project, so do not propose something in your last month of enrollment. Points for acceptable projects can range from 50 to 200, depending on the scope of your project and the excellence of its implementation. Such projects will become a permanent part of the Troy Web Site.
