FST 205: Fire Protection Hydraulics & Water Supply (3 Credits)
Overview

My goal for the course is to teach each of you the skills necessary to keep you and your teammates safe.  I dedicate my energies to this task and I challenge each of you to maximize this learning opportunity

Entry Level Competencies :There are no prerequisites for this course. However, it is strongly recommended prior certification as Firefighter I & II and a solid understanding of basic algebra.  This course will involve an extensive amount of mathematical formulas..

  • Explain the operation of each fire protection system
  • Explain the benefits of fire protection systems in various types of structures
