Overview |

This course examines practical applications of real estate principles. It includes a study of title, estates, land descriptions, contracts, legal instruments, financing and management of real estate.
Prerequisite: The following are required for entry into this course:
- Students should have strong reading and writing skills.
- Students should have the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Students should be comfortable in the virtual classroom setting provided by computer based technologies.
- Students should be self-disciplined, self-motivated, and persistent.

Objectives |

If you complete this course and do well, you will have the following:
- A knowledge of practical applications of real estate principles. It includes a study of titles, estates, land descriptions, contracts, legal instruments, financing and management of real estate.
- Completion of this course with a grade of "C" or better will allow you to sit for the Virginia Real Estate Sales Agent's Licensing Exam.
