Message for students considering BUS 100 & SDV 100 Learning Community

Are you thinking about taking Intro to Business through distance learning?

ELI is offering a special section of BUS 100 with SDV 100 as part of an
exciting and innovative program for enriching your success. All students
enrolled in this special section of BUS 100 will also be enrolled in the
same SDV 100 (college success skills) course. Taking these courses together
with the same students in both classes will help to create a community and
support system for your learning. The activities in this SDV 100 course are
designed to help you to succeed in BUS 100. Some of the topics you will learn
in both courses include: Understanding global markets; ethics in business;
management styles, functions and levels; security markets and financing,
and on the student development side you will gain an understanding of your
study skills strengths and weaknesses, determine how you study and learn best,
create strategies to improve your time management, and clarify your career goals.
