Sun Temple

Temple of the Sun Pachacama near Lima dates to a pre-Inca empire religious site for the veneration of the Pacha Kamaq, a creator god.  When the Inca arrived, they built additional temples, including this temple of the sun.  Photo courtesy Dorothy and C. Wayne Miller.
