Overview of Assignments and Exams

Assignments and Exams

Assignments and Exams should be done in sequence and sent in one at a time. Only one assignment or exam per day can be accepted by instructors. No batch assignments will be accepted.

The Virginia Community College System requires each distance education course to have at least two proctored activities.  To meet this requirement for LBR 105, you must select any two of the assignments or exams for an in-person consultation with your LBR 105 instructor.  You will need to make an appointment with your instructor, and bring with you an exam pass and a photo ID.  Activities that would work particularly well for this are the Unit One Assignment, and the Unit Four Exam (since you will need to be on campus anyway to find and use books).

Students who are out of state will need to arrange for and complete their chosen assignments/exams with a proctor.  The proctor will need to be approved in advance by the Extended Learning Institute.  Students should have their proctor complete and submit the following form to the Extended Learning Institute:  http://eli.nvcc.edu/pdf/prf.pdf  .  Information on how to secure an exam proctor is available at:  http://eli.nvcc.edu/testinginfo.htm

See the Policies & Procedures section for information on assignment deadlines you must meet to avoid being withdrawn from the course.
