Hi!! Welcome to THIS Distance Learning Course at the Extended Learning Institute of Northern Virginia Community College AND MTH 166: Precalculus with Trigonometry. I am your instructor, Margaret Roberts. Let me tell you a little bit about my background. I have a B.S. (Mathematics) from Tuskegee University, M.A. (Mathematics) from The University of Michigan and a Certificate of Advance Graduate Studies (Human Services) from Boston University. I love what I am doing and think mathematics should be fun. So I try hard to get the student's light bulbs to come on. My focus, as your instructor, is to get you from where you are to where you need to be with respect to mathematics. I look forward to helping you succeed in this course.
