PLACE students who have completed an A.A.S. degree at NVCC often continue
their studies pursuing a bachelor's degree. The Bachelor's
of Individualized Studies (BIS) program at GMU is an opportunity
well suited for those students who have developed portfolios.
Students who are interested in pursuing this option to complete a bachelor's
degree should plan to attend an information session on the BIS program
at George Mason University.
The NVCC home page offers a wealth
of information for students. In particular, the NVCC
Student Services site will answer many questions that students might
have as they work their way toward degree completion. An understanding
of program requirements and the process of degree completion will be found
on the page of this site.
