In order to successfully complete this course, you must demonstrate your understanding of the course materials.
Here is an overview of all of the different types of assignments in the course. You can find the detailed directions for the assignments and the grading rubrics in the module where they are assigned.
The Introduction Discussion gives you an opportunity to introduce yourself to the class and to your instructor. These introductions allow us to get to know each other better in the online environment.
Module 0 has two assignments: assignments and Quiz.
Chapter quizzes assess the learner's knowledge of the main topics of the chapter. There questions are short questions often in the form of true or false.
Chapter tests further assess learners’ knowledge of the subject matter taught.
The overall goal of the project is to give students a complete build-out of the concepts and applications covered in the text by working with a specific company from start (building a Chart of Accounts) to finish (generating Financial Statements).
Exam 1 and 2 assess the learner's knowledge of the material covered over a series of chapters. The questions are more detailed, technical and specific to the use and functionality of QBO.
The final exam is a comprehensive assessment of the material covered in the textbook throughout the semester and does NOT include the material from module 0.
