In order to successfully complete this course, you must demonstrate your understanding of the course materials.
Here is an overview of all of the different types of assignments in the course. You can find the detailed directions for the assignments and the grading rubrics in the module where they are assigned.
The Introduction gives you an opportunity to introduce yourself to the class and to your instructor. These introductions allow us to get to know each other better in the online environment.
Connect LearnSmart Smartbook assignments are interactive reading assignments for each chapter. This will be the focus of your reading. You may use the highlighter as you read. You will be graded on the practice phase.
Non-graded additional practice problems have about 20-30 questions per chapter. There is no time limit and you have unlimited attempts. Hints and check my work is allowed and printing is allowed.
You will complete chapter homework on Connect that correspond to the weekly readings.
The proctored assessments provide you with an opportunity to demonstrate your mastery of the course knowledge. You can find the information on how to take proctored assessments in the Taking Proctored Assessments section of the Syllabus.
The Connect exams are open book on Connect. They will provide you with an opportunity to demonstrate your mastery of the content in the specific chapters covered in the modules.
The Student Learning Outcomes Assessment includes 4 questions to assess your knowledge of accounting concepts. This is a required assignment for all ACC 222 students.
