The course will also explore the history, mission, implementation and administration of these criminal justice sanctions. This class will benefit those of you who wish to enter the field of probation and parole. If probation is not your primary career choice, the course will nonetheless give you a great overview of the inner workings of community corrections and the probation realm. It is advantageous for anyone entering the criminal justice field to know the basics of these correctional components.
