Textbook and Materials

Students will not be purchasing a textbook for this class. This course is part of the Open Educational Resource program offered by NVCC. The reading material is accessible electronically each week. A variety of free open resource material have been selected. These PDF files may be read online, or printed at your convenience. A printed version is NOT provided for you and is not for sale. The decision to print the weekly material is strictly a personal choice.

All students should have:

• Consistent access to a computer with an Internet connection
• Consistent access to your NOVA email account
• Access to a web cam

Note: These materials are not optional. If you will not be able to get access to a web cam, which you will need to upload your speeches, then you should consider taking this course at another time.
