This course examines the skills needed for establishing and managing early childhood programs. It emphasizes professionalism and interpersonal skills, program planning, staff selection and development, creating policies, budgeting, and developing forms for recordkeeping.

  3. Organizing Center Structure and with a Board
  4. Financial Matters
  5. Equipping, staffing, and marketing the center
  6. Grouping and Enrolling Children
  7. Managing Food, Health and Safety Programs
  8. Providing for Personal and Professional Staff Development
  9. Working with Families, Volunteers, and the Community

You must have functional literacy in the English language, meaning reading at the 12th grade level, to take this course.
