Work in this course will require your participation in a variety of ways. First, the course is writing intensive with assignments ranging from short paragraphs to longer, more formal multi-page papers. There will be a mid-term and final examination, both of which will be open book.
The assignments that will contribute to the final grade in the course are indicated on the Class Schedule. You will be penalized 10% for late assignments. Late assignments will be accepted one week after the due date. No assignments will be accepted after the course end date.

To accomplish this in online courses, students must show overall passing levels on the proctored or major assessments in order to pass the course.
In this online course, if your average score on all proctored or major assessments is a passing percentage of 60 percent or higher, then your grade will be calculated according to the scale in the table below. Otherwise, a final grade of F will be assigned.

Work in this course will require your participation in a variety of ways. First, the course is writing-intensive with assignments ranging from short paragraphs to longer, more formal multi-page papers. You will be expected to develop a professional e-Portfolio and add various assignments from the course, and you will use a variety of technologies to complete assignments. Each week you will be given a self-check quiz and at the end of the course, you will take a cumulative final exam. You will also be expected to participate in discussions.
This is a professional course. Students are expected to submit assignments in a timely manner and follow all due dates. Students must make prior arrangements with the instructor regarding any extensions.
The incomplete grade is used for verifiable unavoidable reasons. If you have made significant progress in your course, your end date is near, and you have reasons that can be documented as unavoidable, you may request a grade of Incomplete. To request a grade of Incomplete for this course, you must:
Have satisfactorily completed 75% of the activities and assignments, including the successful completion of the mid-term exam.
Explain your extenuating circumstances to me in writing.
Provide a plan for completing the remaining assignments in writing. All work must be completed by the end of the subsequent semester.
The time you must complete the course must be agreed upon with your instructor, but it will be no more than one additional semester.
