If you do well in this course, you will be able to:
- Demonstrate proficiency in the Commonwealth of Virginia's Technology Standards for Instructional Personnel and the National Education Technology Standards and Performance Indicators for Teachers (NETS-T).
- Use the ASSURE model to systematically plan for the effective use of technology and media in the teaching and learning environment.
- Explain why instructors should be aware of copyright laws, Fair Use guidelines, and the TEACH Act when incorporating multimedia resources in the teaching and learning environment.
In this course, the following VCCS General Education Outcomes are supported:
