In order to successfully complete this course, you must demonstrate your understanding of the course materials.

Here is an overview of all of the different types of assignments in the course. You can find the detailed directions for the assignments and the grading rubrics in the module where they are assigned.

Introduction

The Introduction gives you an opportunity to introduce yourself to the class and to your instructor. These introductions allow us to get to know each other better in the online environment. It is ungraded but mandatory.

End-of-Chapter Exercises

End-of-Chapter Exercises give you an opportunity to practice what you learned from the chapter. It is ungraded but mandatory.

Proctored Assessments

The proctored assessments (Midterm & Final) provide you with an opportunity to demonstrate your mastery of the course knowledge. You can find the information on how to take proctored assessments in the Taking Proctored Assessments section of the Syllabus.
