Discussion Activities

The discussion activities provide you with an opportunity to deeply reflect on the readings assigned to each module and apply them to a problem. They can prepare you for the projects and the proctored assessments. Online discussion allows time to weave your thoughts and reflect on the readings and your experiences. All of the posts on the discussion board are required to be thoughtful, reflective, and concise.

Written Assignments/Essays

The written assignments and essays are structured to help you all the way through the writing process. From active reading and research to outlining and peer reviews, the writing assignments in this course will help you develop the college-level thinking and writing skills you need.

Proctored Assessments

Reading About Grammar

These activities help you hone some important grammar skills and culminate in three (3) grammar quizzes.

Vocabulary Discussions

These unit assignments provide you the opportunity to develop your lexicon and provide you with some concrete and precise words to increase your reading comprehension and writing effectiveness.
