Discussion Activities

The discussion activities provide you with an opportunity to deeply reflect on the readings assigned to each module and apply them to a problem. They can prepare you for the projects and the proctored assessments. Online discussion allows time to weave your thoughts and reflect on the readings and your experiences. All of the posts on the discussion board are required to be thoughtful, reflective, and concise.

Labs/Written Assignments

The written assignments and labs will help you apply and communicate what you have learned in class.

Module Concept Checks & Quizzes

The quizzes will help you to understand how well you are learning the information in each chapter.

Some quizzes contain questions in the "Multiple Answer" format. This question type awards a fraction of the points available for each correct answer selection and subtracts an equivalent fraction for incorrect answer selection. The directions for these questions will tell you how many correct answers there are for the question. The directions will also list how many points you will gain for correct answers and lose for incorrect answers.

Proctored Assessments

The proctored assessments provide you with an opportunity to demonstrate your mastery of the course knowledge. You can find the information on how to take proctored assessments in the Taking Proctored Assessments section of the Syllabus.
