Here is an overview of all of the different types of assignments in the course. You can find the detailed directions for the assignments and the grading rubrics in the module where they are assigned.

Assignments

Assignments count for 40% of your course grade. Each assignment is given equal weight.

Coding assignments: Challenge you to apply the concepts you have learned to a web page or site.

Multiple-choice assignments: These are called quizzes, because of the way Canvas is constructed, but they are part of the assignments component of the course grade. They help reinforce learning, both concepts and terminology. You may do the multiple choice assignments three times; only the highest grade counts. The information contained within these assignments may appear again on one of the tests.

Projects

You will have two projects: a CSS Grid Layout Project and a Bootstrap Project. Each project requires you to build a website.
