In order to successfully complete ITE 115, you must demonstrate your understanding of the course materials by participating actively in the discussion activities, completing the hands-on exercises, and completing the four exams. Here is an overview of the different types of assignments in the course. You can find the detailed directions for the assignments and the grading rubrics in the module where they are assigned.

Discussion Activities

The discussion activities provide you with an opportunity to deeply reflect on the readings assigned to each module and apply them to a problem. They can also help prepare you for the proctored exams. Online discussion allows time to weave your thoughts and reflect on the readings and your experiences. All of the posts on the discussion board are required to be thoughtful, reflective, and concise.

Hands-on Exercises

The hands-on activities provide you with an opportunity to demonstrate your mastery of word processing, spreadsheet, and presentation software as well as basic HTML. They can also help prepare you for the proctored exams.

Quizzes

There are 10 multiple-choice quizzes, each worth 2 points. You will only have one attempt per quiz.

Exams

Exams 1 and 2 have 50 multiple choice questions and Exam 3 has 25 multiple choice questions. Each exam is worth 200 points.
