There are multiple resources/textbooks required for this course. Most are free OER (Open Education Resources) and can be downloaded or viewed on a website (links have been designed to open in a new tab). However, at least one must be purchased for around $30 (see NOVAOnline Bookstore).

The resources overlap but also have gaps which are filled by at least one of the other resources. In each Module/unit, relevant sections for each text will be highlighted as needed.

Schaum's Outline of Discrete Mathematics contains all required topics, with concise and clear definitions and theorems, many solved problems, and many supplementary problems with answers. It does not emphasize proofs and the theoretical discussions are brief.
