In order to successfully complete this course, you must demonstrate your understanding of the course materials by completeing required MyMathLab/MathLabPlus Course Units as determined in the in the Checklist and Deadline contract.

While the instruction in this course is individualized and you can progress as quickly as you like, you must still complete a minimum number of quizzes and tests per week to be making satisfactory progress.

MTT 3: 12-Week Schedule

Research shows that students are most successful with distance education when they start their course work on time and make steady progress. Expect to work 8-12 hours per week for this 3 credit, 12-week course. Your official enrollment dates are listed on your Quick-Start Syllabus and you are still obligated to meet those deadlines.

For this 12-week course, it is expected that you will complete a Unit every 4 weeks. Refer to the Checklist and Deadline contract you completed for your instructor.  

If you fall behind the Checklist and Deadline contract you are required to either attend your instructor’s on-line math lab session OR submit a minimum of three (3) questions from the Homework each week to the Ask the Instructor discussion until you get caught up (note:  you must do one or the other, but it's not necessary to do both).  If you fall more than 6 weeks behind the Checklist and Deadline contract AND you are not attending your instructor’s on-line math lab session or submitting questions to the Ask the Instructor discussion, you may be withdrawn from the course without tuition refund.


MTT 3: 15-Week Schedule

Expect to work 6-9 hours per week for this 3 credit, 15-week course. Your official enrollment dates are listed on your Quick-Start Syllabus and you are still obligated to meet those deadlines.

For this 15-week course, it is expected that you will complete one Unit every 5 weeks. Refer to the Checklist and Deadline contract you completed for your instructor.  

If you fall behind the Checklist and Deadline contract you are required to either attend your instructor’s on-line math lab session OR submit a minimum of three (3) questions from the Homework each week to the Ask the Instructor discussion until you get caught up (note:  you must do one or the other, but it's not necessary to do both).  If you fall more than 7 weeks behind the Checklist and Deadline contract AND you are not attending your instructor’s on-line math lab session or submitting questions to the Ask the Instructor discussion, you may be withdrawn from the course without tuition refund.
