Your course grade will be determined by weekly assignments based on the textbook readings, a Midterm Exam, a Final Exam, and three separate lab assessments to be taken during three separate campus visits. See the breakdown of grades in the table below:

It is Veterinary Technology Department policy that students must pass both the lab and lecture sections of all program lab courses with 70% or better, regardless of your scores on the other assignments.
To pass this course a student must receive a C (at least 70 percent) in both the lecture and laboratory portions of this course. Please note - the lecture portion of the course is worth 50% of your final grade and the lab portion of the course is worth 50% of your final grade.
