Vet 212: Animal Diseases II is a 2-credit course which discusses common diseases affecting large animals, disease management and prevention. Focus will be placed on diseases that are zoonotic, emerging infectious diseases, as well as foreign animal diseases. Upon completion of this course, the student should have the ability to communicate to clients the basic information concerning medical care and prevention of disease, as well as a greater understanding of large animal practice and the role of the LVT in that practice.
