ECO 120 presents a broad overview of economic theory, history, development, and application. It introduces terms, definitions, policies, and philosophies of market economies and provides some comparison with other economic systems. This course also includes some degree of exposure to microeconomic and macroeconomic concepts.
This is a survey course. The purpose of this course is to provide the student with an overview of the workings of the American economic system from both a microeconomic and a macroeconomic perspective.
