Discussion Activities

The Discussion Board activities will generally involve reading the open educational resources and then applying the learned concepts to your own life and the society we live in. After explaining your own perspective, you will view others' and contribute to their understanding. You can find detailed directions for the discussions and the grading rubrics where they are assigned by selecting “show rubric” from the top vertical ellipse button on the upper right corner of the discussion screen.

Chapter Quizzes

There are quizzes aligned with each chapter. Each question is written in multiple-choice format and is worth 2 points, with 20 possible points for this quiz. There is a 20-minute time limit to complete each quiz and it must be completed in one sitting.

Exams

There will be two proctored exams. Each exam consists of 50 questions carefully designed to help assess your comprehension of the information on the topics covered in the aligned chapters. There is a 90-minute time limit, and students must complete it in one sitting. Each question in the exam is in a multiple-choice format. Each question is worth 5 points for a total of 250 points. No resources are allowed to be used during this assessment.
