In order to successfully complete this course, you must demonstrate your understanding of the course materials by:

• Completing the assignments in each Module (reading/reviewing provided learning materials: readings, videos, PowerPoint lectures, websites, etc.)
• Passing the proctored assessment and homework/quizzes
• Participating actively in the virtual class meetings

Here is an overview of all of the different types of assignments in the course. You can find the detailed directions for the assignments and the grading rubrics in the module where they are assigned.

• Assignments: These assignments are designed to allow you to apply the knowledge you’ve learned in class. Details for these assignments will be included in the Modules.
• Quizzes: There are quizzes to be completed in each Module. The quizzes are based on the PowerPoints and the readings, and are intended to re-enforce concepts from the book. Be sure to complete the reading assignments before attempting the quiz. You will be allowed two attempts for each quiz with only the highest grade for each quiz being included in the final grade.
