In order to successfully complete this course, you must demonstrate your understanding of the course materials by:

• Completing the assignments in each unit, which includes readings, labs, quizzes and written assignments
• Completing the Achieve Learning practices and quizzes
• Passing the labs
• Passing the proctored exams

This is a hybrid course where lecture for this course is online and asynchronous and the lab is in-person.  The course grade is 75% from lecture and 25% from labs.

Each campus has its own labs.  See your professor’s specific lab schedule for your section.

The lecture portion of the grade consists of online homework and quizzes with Achieve and proctored exams.  The proctored exams consist of 4 Chapter exams and 1 Final Exam.  These are all mandatory and will count for 55% of your lecture grade.  The other 20% of your lecture grade is from the Achieve online Homework.

The proctored exams provide you with an opportunity to demonstrate your mastery of the course knowledge. You can find the information on how to take proctored exams in the Taking Exams and Using Exam Passes section of the Syllabus.
