  6. Differentiate the appropriate quality assurance approaches of inspection and acceptance, including delivery terms and applicable types of warranties.
  7. Identify the types of contact modifications, change orders and equitable adjustments and when they are applicable.
  8. Identify the various types of contracting financing payments and when they are appropriate.
  9. Identify the appropriate contract disputes and appeals and apply them accordingly.
  10. Conduct contract close out procedures.
  11. Differentiate and execute the appropriate termination or cancellation procedures.
  12. Determine the appropriate level of contract closeout and record retention policies.
  13. Examine the general categories of contracting such as: patents, data rights, copyrights, surety bonds, insurance, taxes, cost accounting standards, cost principles, and value engineering.
  14. Examine the special categories of contracting such as: Contingency and Emergency Acquisition, Major System Acquisition, Research and Development Contracting, Construction and Architect-Engineering Contracts, Services Contracting, Federal Supply Schedule Contracting, Acquisition of Information Technology, Acquisition of Utility Services.
