In order to successfully complete this course, you must demonstrate your understanding of the course materials. 

The following is an overview of all of the different types of assignments in the course. You can find the detailed directions for the assignments in each module. 

Introduction Discussion 

The Introduction Discussion provides an opportunity to introduce yourself to the class and to your instructor. These introductions allow the instructor to provide refined focus and guidance to the learning environment. 

Weekly Discussion Forum 

The Discussion Forum provides an opportunity for a collaborative learning environment for sharing ideas, thoughts, insights, experiences and perspectives. Each student will post a response to a discussion question based on the weekly reading assignments detailed in each learning module. Each student will then respond to at least 2 other student postings.  

Weekly Problem Solving Exercises 

The problem solving exercises provide an opportunity to apply various concepts of cost and price analysis in both quantitative aspects as well as qualitative aspects. 

Midterm and Final Assessment 

The Midterm and Final Assessments each are comprised of three portions: 

Part 1 is a brief quiz and is related to your Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) readings and accounts for approximately 10% of of each Midterm and Final assessment. 

Part 2 is a brief quiz and is related to your Contract Management Body of Knowledge (CMBOK) readings and accounts for approximately 10% of each Midterm and Final assessment. 

Part 3 is a comprehensive problem solving scenario that encompasses methodologies and principles from the weekly modules and problem solving exercises and accounts for approximately 80% of each Midterm and Final assessment.
