• Completing the assignments in each unit, which includes readings, quizzes, journals, assessments, and written assignments
• Passing the proctored assessments and assignments
• Participating actively in the discussion board activities

Here is an overview of all of the different types of assignments in the course. You can find detailed directions for the assignments and the grading criteria in the module where they are assigned.

Discussion Board Activities

The discussion board activities provide you with an opportunity to deeply reflect on the readings assigned to each module and apply them to a problem. They can prepare you for the quizzes and the proctored assessments. Online discussion allows time to weave your thoughts and reflect on the readings and your experiences. All of the posts on the discussion board are required to be thoughtful, reflective, and concise.

There are chapter quizzes in each module. They can prepare you for the proctored assessments.

Proctored Assessments

There are two (2) proctored assessments. You must pass the two proctored assessments with a combined average of at least 60% in order to pass the course. The proctored assessments provide you with an opportunity to demonstrate your mastery of the course knowledge.
