This course is for you to further acquire basic communicative skills in a limited variety of situations, such as shopping, ordering in restaurants, and talking about your family and hobbies. Grammar, vocabulary, and writing are subordinated to the task of learning to utilize Japanese. You will, therefore, be evaluated more on what they can do than what they know. You will also learn to read and write in 漢字(かんじ) as well as enforcing both ひらがな and カタカナ. Furthermore, you will continue to be exposed and learn about various aspects of Japanese cultures, including various traditions, customs and the philosophy behind them.
