In this course you continue to learn the key components of Russian, which will help you communicate with Russians, read some texts, write some of your own, understand what Russians are saying to you (but not everything), and learn to navigate your way through some of the intricacies of Russian culture. In Russian 102, you continue exploring Russian grammar by learning the most important grammatical features of Russian (you complete your knowledge of basic Russian grammar in 201), and a fair number of high frequency words.

Entry Level Competencies:

• Your completion of RUS 101 or equivalent
• An interest in Russian, Russia and Russian-speaking countries;
• A willingness to learn and try new things;
• Curiosity;
• A spirit of adventure;
• Resilience (for those times when you don't feel any progress or when it feels like Russian is too hard - it isn't).
