Decree on Single Inheritance, March 23, 1714 (along with the remarks by Professor Evans on Peter the Great) and answer the following question in a paragraph:
Citing specific evidence from Peter's Decree (not from the textbook), what did the decree indicate about the nature of the Russian political system during his reign?
