IST 220 Home Page

Welcome to IST 220! The first thing you should do is:

Read the Introductory Letter

Read the Syllabus.  The Syllabus gives you an overview of the course as well as general course information.

Read the Assignments(listed in the Syllabus). The Assignments listed on the Syllabus gives you all the detailed information about assignments, tests, etc. It also presents a suggested schedule for you to follow to complete the course.

Log onto the Student Support Site. The Student Support Site (maintained by the textbook author at the University of New Mexico) gives you the solution to vocabulary and review questions, and informational web links to assist you with the textbook material.

BASIC COURSE REQUIREMENTS

The Schedule is divided into 16 weeks to help you organize your time. There are no due dates for assignments or exams except for the following:

At least one assignment and/or exam must be completed by your Last Withdrawal Date. If not, you will automatically receive a W.

All assignments and exams must be completed by your End of Enrollment Date. However, you may request an extension if you have completed 50% of the work by your End of Enrollment Date. You must send me that request in writing. You can send a letter to me at ELI or you can email it to me at PWorthington@nvcc.edu.
