yellpad.gif (19023 bytes) PRACTICE QUIZ

Practice quizzes will be most helpful if you use them as a barometer to see if you are ready for the "real" quiz.  Try using the following procedure to study for a quiz:

Study the notes you have taken from the text reading, study guide, and/or videos.  In some units (especially in the chemistry and cell units), making flash cards and using them as a study aid may be helpful.
After you feel that you have mastered the material, take the practice test without looking at your notes, etc. and score the quiz.
If you miss more than 20% of the questions, you probably need to study more.  It does NOT help to study the specific questions on the practice quiz; the real quiz will have different questions although the level of difficulty will be similar.  Remember, exams are not open book; this material must not only be understood but also committed to memory.

Practice Quiz 2: Inorganic Chemistry

Practice Quiz 3: Organic/Biochemistry Chemistry

Practice Quiz 4: Cell - Structure and Function
