Welcome to the ELI web section of Biology 101! If you are enrolled in BIO101 E02A, Professor Klein will be your instructor; if you are enrolled in BIO101 E03A, Professor Nguyen will be your instructor.

Before you start the course, take the ELI short online quiz, Is Distance Learning For Me. If you decide this method of instruction is appropriate for you, follow all the links under Course Information on the left side of this screen. Depending on how you work, you may want to print out some of the material, especially the information on the schedule and grades. If you have questions and/or concerns, please contact your professor as soon as possible.  Mechanisms for contacting your instructors by e-mail, telephone, and office hours can be found under Communication on the left side of this screen.

Before you begin week one's work, you may want to read your instructors' introductory letters (Professor Nguyen, Professor Klein). You should also review the schedule for the On-Campus Lab and email your instructor with your preferred date of attendance.

Now you're ready to click on Week 1 in the calendar at the top of the page. Getting started in a timely fashion is the first key to success!

We look forward to working with you!
