Welcome to Biology 101!

Welcome to Biology 101!

I’m Michael Klein and I look forward to being your Instructor this term

It is my job to help you understand the concepts covered in this course. In my experience students are often frightened of Biology and are convinced it’s a difficult subject. However, to do well in Biology requires time, a little discipline and the acknowledgement that there’s an entirely new vocabulary to learn.

So let’s get started! Please submit your Introductory Letter to me at the posted email address. Let me know a little about yourself and why you are taking Biology 101. I will use this email address to correspond with you. You can also reach me Tuesday evenings from 7:00pm to 8:00pm at 301-579-2105.

If you haven’t already done so, please start with Week 1. If you click on the Week 1 link you will find the chapter and unit readings for the first unit. You will also need to read and perform the first laboratory exercise.

I look forward to meeting each of you.

Sincerely,
Michael Klein
