Cells that lack internal membranous structures such as a nucleus are said to be prokaryotic (the adjective).  Prokaryotes (the noun) are much smaller than cells with a nucleus (eukaryotes).  Organisms in the other kingdoms listed in the study guide are eukaryotic.
