4.  Which releases the greatest amount of usable energy per molecule of glucose broken down? AR = Aerobic Respiration; F = Fermentation; G= Glycolysis

a. AR in amoeba        b. F in yeast         c. G in a human liver cell    d. F in a human muscle cell

Don't be distracted by the type of organism carrying on the process.  In eukaryotic organisms, the amount of energy generated by each of the processes is generally as follows - aerobic respiration, 36 ATP; fermentation , 2 ATP; and glycolysis, 2 ATP.  Note that the two ATP molecules generated in fermentation are both coming from glycolysis.
