Purpose

Academic Integrity is a commitment to the values of honesty, respect, and responsibility critical in providing quality education.  We all must adhere to these high academic standards. As a NOVA student, you should use academic integrity as the guiding principle for all that you do, from taking assessments and making presentations to writing papers and discussion posts. Academic integrity requires you to recognize and acknowledge information derived from others and take credit only for ideas and work that are yours. It requires that you do your own work. It is important that you maintain the highest standard of honor in all your course work.
