Welcome to EGR 115 -- Engineering Graphics, offered by the Extended Learning Institute. I am Rodolfo R. Napisa, an assistant professor of Mechanical Engineering Technology at the Annandale Campus. I have been with the college since 1985. I have played an important role in the development of the Computer Aided Drafting courses and the Computer Aided Design and Manufacturing Specialization in the Mechanical Engineering Technology program.

I am also active in the design and documentation part of the engineering industry. Concurrent with my teaching responsibilities at the college, I have worked with different industries and various government agencies, i.e. Unisys Corporation, Smithsonian Institution, Freddie Mac, Town of Vienna and others in the area of design engineering and documentation control.

I am glad that you have given me an opportunity to be part of your college experience. Your course guide will provide you details on how you will complete this course.
