What
is the purpose of the videotapes?
 |
The
videos are supplemental material that cover the most difficult
aspects of the course. Thus, there is not a video tape
over each topic. In fact, there are no videos associated
with Unit 1, the introductory unit. On the other hand,
Unit 2, the chemistry unit, has 5 videos. Each video is
a 30 minute minilecture over a particular topic. This is not
MTV!

How
Do I View the Tapes?
 |
NVCC
Campus Libraries. The videos can't be checked out.
Be sure to bring your notebook so that you can take notes!
|
 |
Cable
TV. Check out the fall semester viewing schedule. In addition
to the weekly schedule, each semester the entire series is blockfed
overnight by the cable companies so that you can tape the entire
series. This feature may be helpful because it is not
likely that the tape will be shown exactly when you need it.
Again, check out the current semester cable TV schedule
for the blockfeed for Bio 101 (note that two nights are required
to tape all of the videos).
